Viktor A. Theiss is a partner in KormanTheiss, LLC. Viktor brings over a decade of experience in criminal law and law enforcement. He started as a prosecutor at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. Viktor was twice promoted; first, to Supervisor of the Roxbury District Court, and then, to Deputy Chief of District Courts. Viktor was filmed as part of the BBC documentary “Boston Law” that aired on Frontline. In his capacity as Deputy Chief, Viktor was responsible for training new district attorneys and was assigned a number of high profile cases for investigation and review. After more than six years as a prosecutor, Viktor left and was appointed as the Deputy Superintendent of the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Investigation Division. Viktor successfully completed a training academy and was deputized as a law enforcement officer. He received extensive tactical and legal training in preparation of supervising eight investigators. In recognition of his achievements in successfully re-organizing the Investigation Division, he was promoted to the rank of Superintendent and placed in charge of the Training Division and K-9 Unit. Viktor was selected to represent the Sheriff’s Department in conjunction with preparations for the 2004 Democratic National Convention. He prepared the Department’s deployment plan and was the liaison to dozens of state and federal agencies. In 2006, Viktor joined the predecessor firm of Korman & Associates, LLC, where he has since handled hundreds of criminal and civil matters. He lives in Charlestown with his lovely wife.
